APPOINTMENT BOOKINGS

with your valid referral to book an appointment.
There may be wait lists, but we endeavour to provide prompt review based upon clinical urgency.
Our doctors can discuss and expedite urgent cases with your referring doctor if they make contact.
A GP or specialist referral is required to ensure maximum medicare rebate at the time of consultation.
GP referrals are valid for 12 months, specialist referrals are valid for 3 months.

We entirely understand circumstances change unexpectedly however in order to ensure timely review of all our patients cancellations that are not advised within 48 hours of review date will be charged 50% of the consultation fee.

At initial consultation consent to share medical information with relevant treating parties will be sort to streamline your care within a group of medical care providers known to you.
Given the academic and research focus of many of our clinicians permission to use medical information for research and educational purposes will also be sort.
We respect your preferences to decline consent if this is your wish.

Sharp Neurology provide a neurological consultation service. Our doctors and nurses are not able to provide emergency or primary care.
We endeavor to form and maintain therapeutic relationships with general practitioners and emergency department staff to ensure optimal care for our patients. We advise our patients in the event of an acute care problem to consult their primary or closest emergency care provider for initial assessment and care.
Prescriptions cannot be provided outside the time of clinical consultation.
